This is my personal, lucky seal! I had my name, “Kumiko,” (久美子)in kanji engraved on it. A character seal has been proof of one’s work expression since ancient times.
I attended a workshop by Kobayashi-Daishindo to learn how to create it, and a professional carver inscribed my name onto the surface. A week later, I received the digital data. I can freely use it for my art works, T-shirt, and more.
“INEI”, an imprint of a seal, a designed character engraved on a stamp (Hanko). Kobayashi-Daishindo believes it is not just a tool, but a symbol to express “one’s feelings, wishes, and a way of living”.
The digital data of “a seal” can be freely used for wallpaper on mobile phones, social media icons, T-shirts, and bags. There’s no copyright.
We select our name characters from the dictionary, which lists the special characters used for seals. When we put these characters in the circle of a seal, it looks like a highly cool design!
