“NAHAR―RANTHAMBHORE” by Koki Yamada, photographer, is being held at Daikanyama Hillside Forum from April 26, 2025, to May 17, 2025.
The exhibition features wild tigers photographed at the Ranthambhore National Park in India. Nahar is a Bengal tiger. It is a symbolic animal at the top of the food chain, and it is deeply related to local people’s lives as a source of tourist attraction.
On the other hand, the tiger issue underscores the urgent challenges we face, including the preservation of the ecosystem, the impact of population increase on the natural environment, and the delicate balance of becoming a tourist attraction.
In addition, the exhibition will shed light on the pressing environmental issues that modern society faces, such as maintaining the preservation zone and the impact of tourism on the delicate balance of the ecosystem.
The photography of tigers in their deep forest habitat and the rich ecosystem they inhabit is a captivating display of beauty and mystery that will surely inspire all who view it.
At the same time, the exhibition provides an opportunity to reflect on how the preservation of the tigers' living quarters relates to environmental conservation on Earth and our future.
This exhibition is not just a visual treat, but also an insightful and informative event that will deepen your understanding of the beauty, fragility, and strength of the world of tigers and the connection between nature and human lives.
