OKAMOTO TARO

TARO OKAMOTO MEMORIAL MUSEUM

If you go to Harajuku / Omotesando area, I recommend visiting Taro Okamoto Memorial Museum.

Taro Okamoto is Japan’s prominent abstract artist known for his avant-garde sculptures and paintings, including “Tower of the Sun” and “Myth of Tomorrow” displayed in the passageway in Tokyo’s Shibuya Station.

This small museum was Taro Okamoto’s home and studio. All of his works including drawings, sketches and sculptures, as well as reference materials are on display here.

You can step into the world of Taro Okamoto.
