CHAYA Macrobiotics Restaurant in Hibiya Chanter
Vegetable plate with soup
This macrobiotic restaurant is my favorite vegan spot in Tokyo. Last night after work, we went there after walking around Nihonbashi and Ginza. It is normally occupied with women customers in their 40s or 50s who are careful of their health. It is nice and casual ambiance.
Everything is vegan besides dishes with fish and gluten free options available too. Chaya has a fairly large menu of seasonally-changing sets and a la carte items. Food is served in small portion, but always delicious.
We went for Vegetable dishes with meat-like dish, salad and brown rice. The desserts (apple tart)and coffee are highly recommended. It is worth JPY2, 300 (JPY1,780 plus Apple pie & coffee).

When I’m back home on Friday, Beaujolais Nouveau had arrived from my friend's gallery in Denenchofu! It was a pleasant surprise to receive such a terrific wine at perfect timing. Thanks a million!
