Anish Kapoor: Selected works at SCAI Piramide

Anish Kapoor's selected works are exhibited at SCAI Piramide. A plate-shaped sculpture with a vivid blue welcomes visitors at the entrance. The circular shape, made of stainless steel, curving gently to the bottom is characteristic to Kapoor's art.

June 3:The weather has been unsettled in Tokyo today. My precious lemon dropped from a tree due to a strong rain and wind. Let's make a lemonade!

June 1:Japan relaxed Covid border restrictions on June 1 and plans to open borders to inbound tourists on guided tours from June 10. The cap of daily arrivals increased from 10,000 to 20,000. We can finally welcome foreign visitors to Japan and the tourists can benefit from the weaker Yen!

My oil painting was accepted for the 35th Japanese Nature Painting Exhibition at the Ueno Royal Museum. It will be on display at the Museum from Aug.26 thru 30. I'm sorry I do not have a picture of my painting now!

June 16:  Dismal weather continues because the rainy season set in. Hydrangeas in Tamagawadai Park are at their best. They bring relief for us when things do not work well in the world.

June 11: After lunch at TOP'S in Shibuya, I viisited Piramide & Complex 665 in Roppongi to see contemporary art works.

Art is the spice of life!

June 4:  Lunch at Antichi Sapori was fantastic! "Italian Government Certified Restaurant"  serving southern Italian cuisine.  Located at Tokyo Garden Terrace Kioicho.
