Café de Isis is an authentic but modern Kyoto Kaiseki cuisine Restaurant that provides excellent quality Japanese dishes. All cuisines are artful, creative and pleasant to the eyes.
The former musician’s house restaurant constructed in western style looks like a French restaurant, but it actually serves quality Kyoto Kaiseki cuisine. It blends nicely and the ambience is comfortable looking out into the yard.
The signature baked Tofu is a surprising standout, which was melting on my tongue.
After the meal, we were ushered to downstairs for dessert. Rose Room in the basement decorated with more classical furnitures and textile with a French accent is comfortable and quiet enough for conversation. Bar corner with counter seats available.
