"GIRINO", Katase Enoshima

Hors d'oeuvre - salmon

In the Suburbs

The “GIRINO” is Café and Italian restaurant, located beside the Katase River, Fujisawa-city, in the suburbs of Tokyo. The old Japanase house was refurbished and converted into this stylish restaurant. 2 minutes walking from the Katase Enoshima station on the Odakyu Line.

Rolled Pork With Spicy Sauce

They serve Italian, but creative, stylish cuisine prepared by good looking chef. Lunch course is around JPY2,100 including a glass of wine or sparkling wine.

Really nice and comfortable place to spend some hours in the afternoon. Usually crowded with local gourmet people. We are not seeing such a space in downtown Tokyo these days, with Japanese gardens and some steps from the gate to the entrance.

After taking shoes off at the entrance, we were ushered to the table beside the window in the dining room. I love Japanese gardens for its artistic landscape arranged with rocks and pond and trees. The garden is not that large, but just right for visitors to spend some time to enjoy a meal.
